|
- Why are we here today?
- We care deeply and passionately about the Catholic formation of our
children and our community
- Less than 12% of Catholic children in this region attend Catholic
secondary schools
- We want to create a culture of Catholic education from Pre-K through
high school and beyond
|
|

|
- How did we get here today?
- Formed Catholic School for me in 2005
- In 2005 we completed a survey.
- In 2006 we researched all new Catholic high schools established since
2000 in the U.S.
- In 2007 we commissioned an independent feasibility study
- In 2008 we’re forming committees to create a formal proposal in which
to build a campaign

- What does the Diocese think of a new Catholic high school?
- "Yes, I'm encouraged,” Bishop George Lucas said. “It's inspiring to see a group of
Catholic parents working so diligently to expand the availability of
Catholic education for their children. The study has answered my most
pressing questions and I'm looking forward to a formal proposal from
the group regarding next steps."
